Picked Engelberg and Geneva so can do things in between them. Also Geneva being a world city!

Do u think a Day-Trip-to-Gruyeres-including-Golden-Panoramic-Express-Train worth from Geneva? Or just spend 2 days in and around Geneva?

BHs: Booked the stay.. First 3 days near Engelberg, next 2 in Geneva and then head to Paris for remaining 5 days. Looks like we will be renting for the trip in Switzerland and then Paris on public transport. Is it advisable to book the tickets in advance for Mt Titlis, other sightseeing, Louvre, etc...

Clarifying Zurich is only for transit as some members will be arriving at the airport and some at Paris airport. we plan to do both and in between. Recommendations on mountains, etc.

Hurray!! Would u or any of u still pay off the mortgage if in near future (2-3 yrs) you are looking to upgrade to a bigger house? The plan (if it works) would be to rent the paid off house and have a mortgage whenever you buy a bigger house.. Keeping it simple, assuming we can still pay 20% down etc...

Quick/Basic one-

If I had put an order for Fidelity Total Mkt Index Premium for 2018 IRA $5500 on Sat Feb 3rd, the order was executed on Mon Feb 5th, did I bought the shares or transaction at the end of Monday price? The confirmation notice came in Tuesday morning.

So if I m planning to donate for example $20000, it would be more beneficial to donate from capital gains (selling shares, all are more than one year) Vs donating by new money. Does it help me any with selling the shares where I have lost the monies?

I guess I can leave the gains (roughly $50) in after tax account n only move the principal in Employer Roth 401 K. This should avoid the additional paperwork?

Any concerns/ red flags to invest in tax rev bonds which have 10% interest rate and fixed payments from 2022. Maturity on them is 2025. These are retirement communities/assisted living beds.

It says investment only for accredited investors.
