Trip to the Steens Mountains in Oregon

We are planning a trip to the Steens Mountains in the beginning of July and wondering if anyone on the forum has been there before. Looking for ideas on places to stay with moderate prices and the availability of gas as it looks pretty sparse on a map. thank you for any insight.

DW and I each have one, we use them everyday mostly to read an surf the web. When they are out dated we will get the next upgrade. Can’t imagine not having one. We also have an iMac and two I phones. I would keep the one you bought.

It depends on the state you are in. In my great state of Oregon first offense is diversion which any attorney can handle. So take option one. Any second offense spend the money for option two.

The Honda CR V, is a good alternative. Has lots of room for baby seats and everything you need for the kids for near the same price. I don't think they have 0 percent financing..

I don't tip firefighters, police officers, and politicians, as it might look like a bribe even though they are providing great service. I normally tip 15% to wait staff at restaurants never at fast food or buffet type food outlets.

If this is a smaller town and a smaller police department ask the police call taker/ dispatcher, to dispatch the officer over the phone instead of the police radio.

You may want to look at a Kahr 380, a little more expensive very solid dependable weapon with the right ammunition. It's a very good pocket gun for up close encounters.

Pretty sure the kids can't legally block the sidewalk with their stand, call the police. They their mother to set up the stand in front of their home not yours. You could also just set up a couple tables on the sidewalk to take away any room for theirs.

Sounds like a scam to me. It doesn't matter why the scammer (hospital) does it or what they use the money for. It's still a scam. Patients need to ask and the provider needs to fully inform you of the cost before the procedure.
