Re: TLH for absolute dummies [Tax Loss Harvesting]

Question regarding TLH.
I have 2 positions in Mutual fund A.
- Position 1 was purchased 5 years ago and has unrealized losses.
- Position 2 was purchased today.

Question : What is the earliest I can sell position 1 and harvest the losses without a wash sale ?

Thanks.

Contribute fully to pension plans and the 'back door Roth IRA' Remember as Carl Richards says ' person...

Thanks again.
Neuberger and Berman Genesis - NBGNX ER 1.05
Longlef Partners Small Cap LLSCX ER 0.92

I picked Vanguard Equity Income because of its dividend yield and better total return compared to an S&P 500 fund.
I have a gain in this fund.

Thanks.
