My certified pre-owned 1999 Acura TL in 2001 with 9,000 miles. I still have it today and I spent hardly anything on it for repairs. I still have the original hoses and belts, front brakes. I fully understand your issues because they're the same ones I have. I felt forced to convert to brokerage instead of hanging on to the old platform. It's been nothing but more work on my part. I feel your pain but I will stay with Vanguard.

I cashed savings bonds last year. Never got a 1099. Went to my credit union they sent the state gov. the info. I still haven't rec'd a 1099. I know what to claim and wonder if I should without a 1099.

If you have a 401(k) with your employer and you want to do a backdoor Roth, say with Vanguard by opening and IRA and converting to a Roth but your MAGI is over $10,000 can you still do the backdoor Roth? The IRS says NO to contributions to an IRA. Just wondering if the outside IRA makes a difference...

My experience went very well. You really need to follow the instructions for impression molding. Timing is everything and use all the mixing compound. I didn't and I was missing some impression on my front teeth but they did ok on the night guard. Mine is very comfortable compared to the one my dent...

I prefer Costco over Sam's. Costco has great employees and you can get in and out faster than at Sam's. It's also a cleaner store. I do have one complaint. I purchased mine from teethguard.com a few days ago for $126. I'll let you know what I think of it after I go through the fitting form and getting the hard acrylic thin size. I could've gone for double the thickness but decided I'd try this one out.

My son works in Honolulu for the gov. He lives in an apt with his wife. They spend 4 to 8 hours a week of wasted time stuck in traffic. He's contemplating buying a boat and living dockside 99% of time and thinks he can save money.

Medicare premium 2017 for joint filers is different.

Married filing joint return for 2016 was $104.80/month for each of us. 2017 statement from SS shows that one of us will pay $114 and the other will pay $112/month. Shouldn't they be the same amount?

I've paid a CPA $250/yr and when he died I decided to use Turbotax. It's a piece of cake. Vanguard used to give a good deal on TT but now I'm looking for a place to get it for a reasonable price.
