Re: Do you wear a wedding band? [at a job interview]

Before I lost it, I always wore my wedding band at work and during job interviews. It was thick and uncomfortable. Not sure what happened to it, so waited for it to turn up (a few days) and then decided to buy one on Ebay. Looked like a dead ringer for the one I lost. Worked out well for about 10 da...

Re: Do you think it is worth the money to travel to warm weather destinations during the winter?

Florida is expensive this time of year. We've found it more economical to find a 5-7 day cruise leaving from a Florida port for $600-$800 a piece than to rent a vehicle there, rent somewhere to stay, and eating in restaurants for 5-7 days. Florida is no bargain this time a year and neither are sprin...

My adult kids bought a number of Xmas presents from Amazon and had them delivered to my no sales tax state 2 hours away.. We have Prime, I like the music and video component too. If something isn't delivered on the day they schedule it, call them, they add a month to your Prime subscription.

Something seems wrong here. If you have supplemental insurance it should cover what Medicare doesn't. I started Medicare in August, haven't been asked to pay a dime and I've had CT scans, MRI's, visits with specialist in another state etc etc.

I operate an AirBnb in a beach town. I recommend renting from someone who has many positive reviews. We've had great experiences with tenants. We like to meet each tenant and answer any questions they have about the home or area. Clear communications between hosts and tenants is the key to success.
