Went with charitymortors.org about 2 years ago. The car was book valued at around $2,500 to $3,000. Did not get anything from it, not even a donation form. I'm sure it was a great deal to the needy in a particular urban area but I would not want to deal with them again.

Thanks for the details. It's a compact car and I doubted that we're talking about a 5-figure damage. Sedans are not hot sellers these days. Sounds like 15% would be the top range that I should be shooting for.

We opted for the Generac 5 years ago, a saving of about 30% over the Kohler. It has an automatic switch. So far, it has no issues. The battery is up for replacement next year. I had it service from the 3rd year on, annually.

Well, by Friday the 6th, it would be 3 weeks. The Service Department has no Service Manager (just 3 service consultants), so the only way to escalate is back to Sales. It was suppose to be back ordered already (can't imagine that I'm the only one). Another lessons learned.
