Re: Retirees, what is your marginal tax rate?

Yes. It was a big lie that my rate would go down with the extra exemption.

Mine was 15% until I started to convert my T-IRA to Roth last year aggressively; it's 25% now, at least until 70 1/2.

+1. The KISS principal prevails! I had moved my last managed account to Vanguard, so everything I invested is in one bucket. Recently spoke to a Vanguard CFP who advised a 5-fund portfolio. The only reason why I did not go with him is I'm just too cheap, saving 0.3%/year. However, I told my wife and...

A Ghost Story - a total waste of talents in an overblown 92 minute film. Somehow the reviews are totally polarized on this one in IMDB. I'm one of those who think it should be a 2 for cinematography and acting. There was hardly any scripts except during one of the parties toward the end.

Shepherds and Butchers is a courtroom drama about a prison guard who is both the Shepherd and Butcher of fellow death row inmates. I've settled on a 2018 Outback Limited with Eyesight; should pick it up next Tuesday, coming from a slightly used 2012 Lexus RX350. In terms of interior quality, the Mazda CX-5 smells like money, then the Outback, CR-V, Tucson in that order. Obviously, none of them matches the Lexus, even the 2012 m...
