^^You certainly do not have to log in twice to move money around. The settlement fund is a pass-through. You can exchange mutual funds same day. The most tangible part that we can all relate to ---- I tend to keep most cash in $1, $5, and $10s. I don't care for $20s and definitely not $100s. And no, there is no strip club reference in this one. :D Love the benjamins. I guess it comes down to the clientele one has to deal with, :wink:

You can get a strawberry jar and grow multiple herb plants. Oregano, rosemary, basil, mint can spice up your meals.

Jalapeno and Bell pepper plants are coming along nicely inside. I would like to have them in the garden by mid-May but that depends on the weather situation. The current 10 day outlook suggests possibility of snow next week. Groan.

The Governor of Illinois in his daily address reported that at a state penitentiary, one inmate has died from Covid 19 and another eleven have tested positive for Covid 19. Twelve guards have also tested positive for Covid 19.

We hit the grocery store in the early a.m. Not many customers but all of the employee's were wearing gloves and wiping down shelves before stocking any items. We own both Vanguard Total Bond (VBTLX) and Vanguard Intermediate Treasury (VFIUX). Over the years it has worked out fine.

Perhaps the Morningstar numbers for AUM include investments held in Collective Investment Trusts which are prevalent in 401k plans.

BTW, Bogle's "age in bonds" is a kind of "move toward risk parity as you get older" guideline. If you reduce stocks and shift to bonds that's what you're doing. You should be able to do it on line without calling.

Example: Sell $$$ of Fund XYZ and send to settlement fund in Brokeragelink. Once $$$ is in settlement fund you can then purchase what you want. This usually is a 2 day process if done when the market is open. That's how it works in my plan.

We are able to log in and peruse our accounts.

But, we are on the old mutual fund platform....you know...the one Vanguard keeps asking to migrate away from and go to the "new and improved platform".
