I have thought about this. Sometimes the medication cost quoted by our drug plan cost way more than what you can get yourself with a GoodRx coupon. It is ridiculous. In order to fill up your deductible/out of pocket maximum, you are almost forced to pay the inflated prices quoted by your drug plan....

I think you are making a wise choice. I would suggest if the costs are not much different get the 15 year plan now in case you have some bumps in your financial plan. You can always cancel after 10 years if you feel you do not need it...

Keep in mind I have found the IRS withholding calculator to be off by 1 paycheck depending when in the month you run it...
