Hi Gary, Two things here i learned , money is fungible and its all 1 account meaning think of your IRA and taxable accounts as sub-accounts under your 1 main account. Hi Gary - You mentioned that the IRA is all bond funds so how are you locking in losses there for RMD? Also even if you do have stocks in an IRA and you sold more stocks than you wanted in IRA due to RMD , you can buy back that stock amount in your taxable account.

try leasetrader or swapalease. This basically allows someone to pick up your lease. You might have to add an incentive to effectively lower their payment but might still work out for you. Best of luck. Have had similar issues with cars before.

So Vanguard Prime is yielding 235 bps. Don't see how this would beat inflation after taxes on the income for me. After tax return likely around 170 which is under inflation rate of 2%

I've had all types of cars now driving a 2017 Dodge Charger RT. Best performance for the buck. Lots of fun to drive and listen to the exhaust and the V8.

Yes you are right i do not have any proof source it was the mortgage company.My purpose here is not to lay blame on an company but simply to alert other community members to this potential fraud. Btw, probably in these types of cases there is rarely "proof".

Hi just wanted to alert my fellow Boogleheads to a potentially dangerous scam that happened to my Chase Checking account. The hacker(s) got hold of my routing and account numbers and forged a check to make look like my personal check then made it payable to a company called New Web Sales for $29.95....

we sold our townhome in NY in 2010 was tough to move. There were less potential buyers for townhomes as compared to SFH. With HOA fees you got more for your money with SFH as compared to towhome/condo. Your young families looking for SFH . Just anectodal my experiences.
