Hi,
I am planning to get the new IHG premier card which gives 140K points. However, the annual fee is $89. The points expire within a year if no activity. If I cancel my credit card, how can I earn points (except not going to IHG property) to keep my points.
Any suggestions

Experience at Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui
Hello,
Has anyone been to Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui recently. I am looking at the Costco package which gives $600 credit in the resort. We are planning to go with the kids (10 and 12).
Would be great if anyone can share their experience?
Thanks

Re: Planning trip from Bay Area to Crater Lake, Oregon
Crater Lake is a bit of a drive, but it is beautiful and you have to visit it. Take the boat to Wizard Island. Redwood NP is a must, like Lava Beds NM. If the kids have never have been to a cave, you can take them to Oregon Caves NM, if it opens. The dunes in Oregon are a lot of fun, especially for...

Lava Beds National Monument is on the way to Crater Lake and is awesome for both kids and adults. There are many caves to explore at all levels of spelunking. Visit the caves all day and then spend the night in Klamath Falls. While you're in Klamath Falls, try Nibbley's Cafe. The food is awesome an...

When will you go? If winter time, be aware of road closures. We went in the summer and enjoyed jumping in the lake after hiking to the bottom, it wasn’t as cold as we feared. Out of curiosity, if tip at a restaurant, does the tip goes to that particular server or is put in a pool and distributed equally among all the servers.
Say for example Olive Garden...if I tip $10 to the server, will it go to her/him specifically?

Hi,
I am planning to visit Chicago for the first time with 8-10 year old kids. How many days should I stay in Chicago and what are the key places I can cover.
3-4 days are enough or any other places which are near to Chicago are worth visiting.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Yes, you have to pay taxes on any gains. You would recharacterize the amount contributed plus the gains. Your brokerage will calculate it for you. Paying the taxes now is cheaper than paying the 6% forever. It’s much easier to fix prior to tax day, but you have until October. https://www.investoped...
