I received the original Shingles vaccine about 10 years ago. I think that I am still eligible for Shingrix also.
I inquired at the local military hospital and was told that they did not have it yet. I have a VA appointment next week and will try to get it there.

I used to stick my cash reserves in an online Ally account, but changed to PMMF several months ago when PMMF (@Vanguard) started paying more, and more, and more than Ally. I eventually moved all of my stash to PMMF. I think PMMF is currently yielding 2.44%.

There is nothing about an IPS/AA that says you can not change it as many times as you would like. Remember that this is YOUR plan. YOU should be able to make changes to YOUR plan as often as you care to. Just make the changes for the right reason and at the right time.

Even though I receive pension income, SS, and VA disability, none of that affects how I have arrived at 45/45/10 AA. Those items are income, not investable assets.

My Dad had a small WL policy and was well past 90 when I called the company for him to inquire about the CV vs. the DB. I was advised that "he beat the system" and his CV was more than his DB. He cashed it in.

If OP is a Vanguard IRA investor, VG will send you a letter in early 2019 advising you how much you need to RMD in 2019.

Just from the brief info provided, I would consider exchanging the money market shares to Roth mainly because your S&P500 shares have taken a beating recently.

As a passive investor, the only time that I really care about the market is that day that I convert my stock/bond assets to cash. The other days are for other folks to be concerned about.

I have had 100% @ VG for years. I feel perfectly safe with my decision. My investment is in funds that are supported by individual stocks/bonds not VG.
