Re: Drop Collision Insurance?

I have made a change in recent years. I have a 4 year old car that is even now worth about 30k per KBB. My stock market holdings often change daily in the tens of thousands which tells me I can survive a30k loss pretty easily. Collision coverage no longer makes sense for me.YMMV

When did you update your DD info (if you needed to)?
Updated info sometime after 4/15- would guess 4/18 or so.

Is there any reason why we can’t ask the custodian for a sum less than our RMD and have 100% of it sent to the IRS as withholding?
I was wondering the same thing and would greatly simplify for me if we can do that!

I drove a Corvette for about 9 years with no spare tire. However it did have runflats which were helpful a time or two. Many trips from MN to FL over the years with no flats. Carried some goop and some air inflater gizmo but never used. Comfortable with no spare tire.

There has never been a feature so compelling that I've felt the need to update as soon as a new OS version is available. Saves me the trouble from the initial inevitable issues. I just wait until the first major patch which is usually much better.
