For a great casual winter jacket, I'd go with Mammut over North Face any day. Better looking and fitting. $150 to $300, REI and other major retailers have them.

I have a black puffer style (not down) with a hood that somehow stays comfortable at any temp from 50F to -5F.

At that age I found these to be most relevant and instructive:

Elizabeth Warren's Balanced Money Formula and Ramit Sethi's book. I still budget based on these two books 10 years later.

I like Suze Orman as an addendum to those, but she's not specific enough for a sole reference.

Does stretching the lats build muscles but breaking the fibers and allowing them to regrow? I think it is intuitively obvious that just hanging onto something is the least effective way to build muscle. If this were true, we'd only ever see people carrying weights around, never actually moving them...

I 10th Grado. Especially if you're using it with mobile devices, which generally have weak outputs. The Grado's are lower ohm and thus sound louder on cheapo devices. I'd second Sennheiser. Bose if you must. Everything else is just marketing.

You need to at least subscribe to Netflix to enjoy any media streamer like the Roku.

Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, and HBO Go will round it out and you won't be missing anything! That's $25 a month (without HBO) vs $90+ cable. I just saw Wendy said all this, I agree!

Remember, if your chest doesn't touch the bar, it doesn't count.

I hung on to XP for a long time, to 2012. Windows 7 is significantly better, I would switch as soon as possible. Set it up with Windows Classic look and turn off Aero and you won't be able to tell a difference, other than being able to find things with search!
