My policy has a 100% protection plan which is supposed to pay up to 150% the limits of the policy. For a home insurance standard policy, it would be good idea to declare any upgrades as you might not be in a position to claim otherwise incase of any damage.

To be honest, I prefer the diverse experience of the Bogleheads to going by one person’s advice. That way at least I get a balanced opinion on everything.

I’m not very comfortable with the ambiguity in these funds myself.
