FYI, if anyone needs to move IRA money, for IRA CD's you have 90 days to fund & get the best rate of either the day you open or the day you fund, you can read that on the IRA CD page. Yesterday the 18mo rate for over $25k was 1.75%.

Be careful about NZ car rentals ... the majors have a clause in their agreements that say that if you have an accident & get a ticket, the insurance on the vehicle is void & you are responsible for 100% of the damage. Geico auto rates normally include a 1 time new customers discount & then they go up the 2nd year ... when asked how much they go up the 2nd year they say they don't know. Ask if this is true for your quote.
