Similar situation here, except that the neighbor's dog leaves little "presents" for us on our lawn. The neighbors are new to the block, so I'm hoping they'll catch on to the local etiquette re. dogs and leashing/picking up. If not, a friendly talk is planned.

A small square of really dark chocolate (very low in sugar) twice a day helps keep my sugar craving at bay. Weirdly, eating a few baby carrots at various times of the day helps me, too. :happy

Thanks to the excellent responses to my query, I was able to close a no-penalty CD and open a high-yield one (at 2%) pretty seamlessly and instantaneously, and just before the clock struck midnight. Once I located the "Early withdrawal" link (which was hiding in plain sight) it was smooth sailing.
