If you want 80/20 it looks like you would have:

80% - Vanguard Institutional Total Stock Market Index Fund Institutional Plus Shares VITPX
20% - Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund Institutional Plus Shares VBMPX

There shouldn't be any taxable events doing this in your 403B or backdoor Roth IRA

I'd say bring it on the next opportunity. Check out Storm Cases. They are made by the same company that makes Pelican Cases and they are waterproof and should float, but heavy and cumbersome. This is a good way to store your gear and not have to worry about it getting damaged.

If it were me I'd probably sell the bitcoin and pay off small car loan and put the rest in an emergency fund. I might also consider focusing on getting those 401k loans repaid sooner than later in case you decide to change jobs.

I've heard the pocket Osmo has a fantastic picture. I'm not sure if it would be practical and probably somewhat fragile. I think I would suggest a late model smartphone and send along an external battery pack like an Anker. Generally, the best kind of camera is the one you'll carry around with you.

There are some forums such as betterbidding.com which show you deals other people have gotten and what hotels you are likely to get. I would frequently use priceline and hotwire in the past and felt like I usually received fantastic deals, especially with nicer hotels.

If you're considering the Rav4 check out the redesigned 2019 model which most people seem to like MUCH better from the pictures. If you prefer the current model I bet you'll be able to find a much better deal if you wait a few months, or longer.

If you have a good job now and your side job is only going to take up 10 hours a week why not stay there until you have a reason to leave? Perhaps look for another full time job that you like more. Google Spreadsheet. Updates basically in real time except for mutual funds which sometimes don't update until the middle of the night. It's very easy once you figure out some basic formulas and the quotes function.

It depends on what you mean by front load. Unlike an IRA, you can not make lump sum contributions to a one-participant 401k until you have the compensation available.
