Currently watching Marcella season 3 on Netflix. So far it hasn't impressed me but I still like it. I really enjoyed first two seasons and I highly recommend it to fans of Luther (on Prime).

Very happy with a purchase. Windows 7, i3, 8 G RAM. It's a bulky laptop but I think I paid less than $300. I run Citrix client all day on the days I am remote. I recommend going this route.

I would recommend a book by Pam Allyn called "What to Read When". I found it this book a great resource (about a decade ago) as parent of an avid young reader. This book had a very thoughtful suggestions on books age wise and interest wise for young kids.

In general that estimate seems reasonable based on what I paid recently for new front pads and new rotors, about $270 plus tax at a local independent shop. I would say go for it if you trust the shop.

Very average flick. Supposed to be a psychological thriller. Heavy star cast, good story/concept but overall movie was dull and just meh.

Watched Sicario over the weekend. It was recommended by quite a few and glad we watched it. The story is very simple involving Mexican cartels, drug war, American law enforcement agencies etc. but it keeps one engaged with a steady pace - also great acting, direction, cinematography.

We have a 2008 Honda CR-V and I consider it a perfect Bogleheads 4wd vehicle....for a city driving. On highways ride is not so quiet and and not very comfortable, in fact our 2002 Camry performs better than it comfort wise.
