I dumped it as soon as the price increase was announced. I've already watched most of the good content & it seems like are just pumping out tons of junk to see what sticks. I'll be signing up for the Disney+ service as soon as I am able. Netflix is going to have a very tough time competing.

I don't regret it for a second! Worth every penny. In a few years my pay increased to more than what I was making before and I'm 100% happier.

I know the grass isn't always greener but in this case it worked out alright.

Get rid of it! I did something similar with my mortgage. Once the balance got to $30,000 I used our savings account to wipe it out. It was refilled in less than a year. If you regret it you can always take out a personal loan :)

Fidelity's zero funds are not transferrable and can only be purchased in their retail brokerage accounts. If you buy them in a tax-advantaged account and want to move you can just sell them.

Yes and yes. It's probably safer than a PC. Why is that? An app on iOS has to be reviewed and approved by Apple to run. On a PC you can run ANYTHING which is why there are so many security issues. Computing on iPhones and iPads IS safer. Not doing financial transactions on them comes from computing...

I am in the middle of this right now -- waiting for money to transfer over.

$900 for opening the brokerage accounts
$100 for opening a checking account
$500 for opening a credit card

$1,500 total courtesy of BoA.

I also had Vanguard convert my mutual funds to ETFs. It happened overnight.

Freeze your reports (should be done anyways) and sign up at the optoutprescreen website. I haven't gotten credit card junk mail in over 10 years. None.

Yes! This is an excellent plan. Set it up on the Fidelity side to auto-invest according to your percentages and spend time doing other stuff. Check once in awhile to make it's working and to keep an eye out for fraud issues.

... they pay bubkas in interest, and charge fees if the account is low (I've never paid a fee because we, admittedly, keep too much money there). Have you considered Chase's self-directed brokerage platform -- YouInvest? They have Vanguard ETFs and Mutual Funds for no fee if you have enough assets....

Choose one brick and mortar bank. Choose one online bank for high yield savings. Choose one brokerage and move all accounts over than can be. Make sure you get your employer match, max out Roth IRA and the go back to employer plan for whatever er amount you want.

I have used Mint for 10+ years.

I set up budgeted amounts for gas, food, etc.
Next, I classify transactions and set rules so future purchases won't need to be touched.
Last, I check budget charts for the month.

Easy.

I use it as a guideline, not "oh no, you spent $42 over in gas! Emergency!!!"

Nothing wrong with that. My wife's 401k is 100% in a Vanguard target fund. My Roth/Rollerover IRAs are all Total Market US. Before that I used a LifeStrategy fund. I've found that doing this gives me less reason to possibly tinker. It just goes and goes.

I started 529s for my kids at Fidelity. I would have liked to stick with Vanguard but there is a $3000 minimum just to open the account. Fidelity has a $0 minimum and I can invest in $25 increments. Maybe once they are above $3000 I would move to Vanguard but I might actually like Fidelity and stay

I had the card but converted to the 2% offering before my AF hit. I really did not like the CS. When you contact Alliant about any credit cards with them all of your requests go back to a third party servicer. Extremely annoying. However, the 3% cashback was very valuable.

Custom branding for Walmart. Samsung does the same thing with Evo Select cards (Amazon exclusive). Best Buy also had a rebranded line in the last year or two.

Some of my favorites are farm, coins and double zout (mm, salty!) It's sold in many different brands like Venco or Hafco. I live in a very dutch area of the US so this stuff is sold everywhere local to me.

I use Ally as my bank and don't have any local accounts. No issues. Free checks, ATM reimbursements, no fees, high ACH limits, functional website. I call them maybe once every year or two.

I've used an online bank as my primary for about 15-20 years.

Your 1099 from them will list every account you had over the year and the interest generated as well as a total amount combined. Very easy as the total is all that's needed by the IRS.

You should get the higher resolution screen. In Windows you can set a scaling factor like 125% or 150%. The higher resolution you have the better this will work/look.

My local Costco is between 0-20 center cheaper. In Hawaii the locations are consistently $1/gal cheaper. No brainer to be a member there.

You can't forward the messages with the way these are set up and have them be encrypted. It just doesn't work that way. You will have to inform everyone of the change. Anyways, the encryption only works to other ProtonMail users or with a password protected link.
