We got it a few months ago and love it. It may cost $100 a month but being able to tell CenturyLink to stick it was priceless.

Seriously, start reading Hedgefundie’s first post in the first thread. Most of what you need to know i...

Since I live in LA, there's always coverage of tourists who get into trouble in Baja. Americans getting kidnapped, pulled over by police for bogus reasons, having to pay bribes to get out. Then there's the stories of locals getting beheaded with their heads left on sticks, a busload of school child...

We had outstanding service at the Hotel Sorella this past summer. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate us on an exceptionally busy night for them. The rooms are new, more modern and spacious. We also stayed at the Hotel Raphael for a night. It's an older hotel but very nic...

Hendrick's shaken and pour into a well chilled martini glass that's been swirled with Vya (dump the excess). Garnish with a cucumber if you're feeling fancy.

Re: What's your asset allocation and why?
I'm a dual momentum guy, currently 100% in VOO. It just makes sense to me. How have you felt about the two whipsaws in August and January? Although Gary and others seem to think the lower downdrawns and hard-set rules make things easier, it seems much harder emotionally than buy/hold. With buy and ...

Very interesting Robert, thanks for the explanation. That's pretty eye opening regarding the drop in returns if you use AGG versus T-bills. Here's another question, what duration of T-bills does he use in the book? I can't remember what he specifically said and I've loaned my book to my dad. Thanks!

What I don't understand is if you're going to use AGG as the bond fund, why not just use that instead of BIL for comparison purposes?
