I read a while ago that most waitron and others that work for tips figure out pretty quickly that there are good tippers and bad tippers and the service you give can only nudge people a little bit in one direction or another. There are exceptions who really use it to rate service, or reward behavior...

When did this progression of normative tip amounts take place? In the 1970s, when I was a boy, my Dad taught me that the standard tip was 15% at an everyday restaurant and 20% at an upscale restaurant. So, if the progression you describe was a nationwide phenomenon, it must have been well under way...

Not true! Market prices are only set for shares traded on the open exchanges. Non-open market transactions or transactions between private parties are non directly setting market prices.

FYI, those discombobulated by the numers: one of my coworkers here in the bay area mentioned something more like $35,000 for a private school for his elementary son (K or first)....and this is in the mean streets of Oakland, not San Francisco.

There are alternatives to listening to satellite radio that haven',t been mentioned: mp3's? books on tape/cd from library, podcasts, etc.
Though finding the time to find stuff is a possible challenge....but it could earn you $240/year if I read that $20/month right.

Depends on the plants.
E.g. The garlic bulbs I put into the ground in late October really want some fertilizer. Last season I didn't; they grew and each ended up growing but each one ended up just one big bulb.

You also used to be able to pay 60 days after COBRA starts, so there was this indeterminate period at the beginning where you were covered if you needed to make a claim (and paid for COBRA) but if you didn't need to use it, you didn't need to pay. Find out if this is (still) accurate in your case.

Facebook has had several rounds of chasing after people using stage names, drag names, etc. which I find remarkable considering the account I made for my neighbor's dog has never had a problem.

Assuming you don't otherwise change your mind about the rate you're paying your mortgages (and I have no opinion on that): Wouldn't it make more sense to push the extra mortgage payments onto the highest rate loan so it gets paid off sooner? Once that's gone you can shift to the lower primary reside...
