As others have implied, I do not include home equity in calculating asset allocation.

Our home equity is a large pct (~25%) of our networth, but then... our non-house networth is quite a lot too.

We do not plan to sell the house or reverse mortgage to pay for the late retirement years.

Yes... and sometimes someone w/ sysadmin will map a drive letter to it and then you are SOL.

Lack of knowledge....human error... that's usually "the problem". KLUG. Knut loose behind gun/keyboard.

Interesting that I can use the same answer as in the thread about loading up on stocks: I don't market time, and I don't have "cash reserves". 256gb Solid state drive is small. go bigger! 256 is barely big enough for the OS, with not much space left over for swap/paging. 512gb is better.
