The long vol/tail is tough bc it seems like the better managers are going to be in an LP. Mutiny Fund offers accesss to a diversified basket of Long Vol managers and the minimum is 100k. Yeah, I personally don't believe in savings targets. The goal should be to minimalize your expenses as much as possible, which will increase your savings as much as possible.
