If there are any reputable repair shops in your area that have a bunch of cars outside, see if they have any to get rid of. Some of those cars could be from customers who abandoned them/didn't pay the repair bill. If the place is reputable, talk with the owner and they can maybe hook you up.

I don’t know what I was thinking. The TSP is NC tax exempt - not Federal. I’m fine with paying NC income tax on the amount of my RMDs that end up being taxable, in order to avoid my daughter having to pay Federal tax on the entire lump sum.

They are similar offerings from different investment companies - not identical because of the different indexes and # of stocks - but substantially identical in my opinion.

My quick read of the 2 states instructions are that he files in Ohio as a non-resident, and files in Maryland as a resident. On line 24 of the Maryland Form 502, he gets credit for taxes paid to Ohio. Looks like he may have also to file some sort of non-resident affidavit in Ohio.
