Thanks fellow Bogleheads! Very helpful. To answer your question on the car, it was a Hyundai Sonata full Limited Edition. 38k was with TT&L drive out. 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. 0% interest. What is crazy is the level of technology on this vehicle. Far exceeds BMW and Mercedes. Very cool.

Yes. I really liked the fact that Fidelity can automate it so that the moment the after tax funds hit, they become Roth 401k funds...She said Fidelity works to have that ability in their plans. Nice.

And the state school report cards just came out this week. txschools.gov. It is important to look at the data and not just the grade. A school might have an A in a subject you care about and a C in an area that may not affect you.

But isn't it the case that even if the bond fund NAV falls, you only lose money if you sell, right? If you are holding long term, you get your expected interest rate and no harm, right?
