I just paid 1296 for crown and buildup here in California. My dentist uses a scanner and 3D printer to create the crown with modern materials while you wait. I spent less than 2 hours in the office and left with the permanent crown in place. No temporary.

Just cash the check and charge the purchase.. That is the way to start building up the rebate for next year. I always do this. I got no notice from vanguard that the form I mailed in a week ago had been processed, I could not initiate a transfer this morning, but was able to do so this evening. So a full week start to finish.

Instructions say you must include Federal schedule A in addition to check box and state schedule CA. Note that hr block did not print this with state return, you had to read and know state instructions.

The way I read the rules at TD is that you have to have indicated they were gifts at the time of purchase and placed them in your gift box at the time of purchase before transfering.

I will probably convert short term corporate bond in IRA to short term corporate bond in Roth. Then if an when there is a significant market drop, sell stocks for bonds in IRA, and sell bonds for stocks in the Roth in equivalent amounts.

I tried it once. Que laugh track, ok they only chuckled and told me no, said I could refinance wherever I like and asked if I needed an application, to which they got the same no back. I got a better rate elsewhere.

Also not available yet is the DONATION ASSISTANT, which I rely on. Also, still cannot yet print the CA return for paper filing. Jacked up price this year, and downgraded service. :x
