Dodge & Cox has historically a very good reputation. Lower costs for active management. The managers eat their own cooking by investing alongside fund shareholders. These banks get away with it with lousy .05. Mainly with older people that don't know. I told bbva i was going to move the money elsewhere because they're not competitive. Rep said rates change depending on stock market.

she wants to stick with brick and mortar bbva. thats where her money is. so $10 to buy a nice conservative vanguard fund would be nice if they offer it. i have an email in to them i'll see what they say.

had something similar. electric pole saw. cut off 1-2 ft chunks let drop. took a couple hours.
