I use Darn Tough wool blend socks. They have light cushion and I wear them in moderate to warm weather. I don't know whether they would be thin enough but at about $20/pair you can buy one and try it. Running ones with or without cushion are like $12 on sale. 50% wool only way to go. Antimicrobial....

Check on backcountry moosejaw places like that. They usually have $200 pairs 75% off. I spent $45 on mine and have had for a few years. Replaced the lens once as I use them for outdoor work.

I work live and grew up on a farm. Not sure peoples fascination with trucks. They are expensive and clumsy and get terrible mpg. Personally if I didn't need one I'd be happy to never drive again.
