Good luck if you think Honda is going to admit any responsibility. They are notorious for ignoring ongoing issues and usually have to settle with a class action lawsuit and the customer is reimbursed a fraction of repair costs. After my 2008 Honda rear brake issue I bid them a not so fond farewell.

I purchased a Tag chronograph quartz in 1991 and used it regularly and kept it in excellent condition. Changed battery when needed at a reputable jeweler who would check the gasket and made sure it was properly sealed. I never had any issues and my son is wearing it now for the past couple of years.

With the recommendations of extended oil changes don't forget to check your oil level frequently between changes as the engineers who design engines today seem to also have a tendency to design more for extending gas mileage on the window sticker than preventing oil consumption.
