Re: House sale quandary - got offer from neighbor before agent listed house

You dont owe anything to the RE agent until you have signed listing agreement, RE attorneys are usually not expensive and you will pay either way. Have your buyer get a purchase agreement written up with the terms with closing date and due diligence/inspection period. If you are okay with those item...

Re: Inherited IRA but I’m in top tax bracket?!?

thats true i just checked. You should have received a step up in basis to Market Value on date of death on the IRA, did they not file a Federal Estate Tax Return? I do not think this is correct. Inherited retirement accounts (e.g. IRA, 401(k), etc.) are considered to be income in respect of a decede...

Re: Costs to own a plane

A 182 may have more room. I own a plane by myself Mooney M20J(low cost to operate and maintain) Has retractable gear makes a little more pricey to maintain. A lot depends on where you live, especially hanger cost if you keep it in one(or avail at all). The weather is not kind to airplanes that live ...

Re: new car purchase: any reason NOT to do 0% financing

#1, why are you subject to capital gains? you would be better off trading it in and not be subject to capital gains.

You should not sell your stock and should finance @ zero.

Re: Mosquitos! Mosquitos! Mosquitos!

Get a Stihl mist blower and buy and correct chemicals to keep them at bay for 1 - 2 +months I have great success with Syngenta Demand CS, many also mix in a Insect Growth Regulator (IGR). I used Demand CS with great results. (use .80 oz/gal) https://www.domyown.com/demand-cs-p-46.html?sub_id=585 Ins...

No dont do it. I prefer custom made Wallets, Alligator, Cayman, or Croc on a budget. There are many but I use this maker for a lot for my belts and wallets because its near me.

Re: Best watch for $5,000+

I would start out with a Rolex at a min, its not a watch, its a time piece. Pick what you can afford to spend within reason. I bought my first Rolex on my first job out of college, Stainless and gold Submariner black face and its still running strong 33 years later and worth more today than what i p...
