Estate taxes

For estate tax purposes, is money in a traditional IRA valued the same as money in a Roth IRA?

Lexus is the few manufacturers left with a naturally aspirated V8. It revs to 7300RPM. It's probably one of the sportiest motors left in production.

Re: I just bought a Peloton - Love it!

“Different strokes for different folks,” an aphorism that so many people on this board have a hard time accepting. As for me, I ordered a Peloton two days ago. It will arrive December 28. I ordered mine Sept. 20. It will arrive Dec. 17! Long wait! I had a Peloton on order from July 2, but changed t...

Happy to find this thread. I'm so excited. My bosses just gifted me a Peloton Bike Plus. I am scheduled for a knee replacement in early November and biking is one of the few things that isn't painful. It should be excellent for rehab and building back strength. Wow, that is a nice gift! +1

Re: Expensive Cat Drug Prescription! Help - Options?

Using a Flovent inhaler is the definitely the best way to treat feline asthma. Costco is probably the cheapest USA option though I know I’ve had clients get it from Canada and save quite a bit. Depending on the drug (no idea about Flovent) GoodRX can sometimes get you a decent discount as well. If ...

Re: Just Ordered Peloton Bike

So good news on this. The price for the bike has been reduced 350 dollars which is pretty crazy considering the pandemic has brought the demand to all time highs. The lead time was up to 12 weeks back in May when I bought it. Any recent customer will get the 350 dollar credit as well. I just got th...

There is a very strong rumor out there that Peloton will be announcing a new bike. The new bike will have additional features eg tablet that pivots and integration with Apple Watch. I have a bike due in 4 weeks. I just contacted Peloton to ask if I could swap to the upgraded version. I was told tha...

RMD's and/or withdrawals from a traditional IRA may increase medicare premiums. No such problem with a Roth.

Re: How to best invest in wife's Roth IRA?

I wouldn't keep a "safe" fund in a Roth account. The main advantage of a Roth is tax free growth, so you want something that's going to grow the most (stock funds). Especially if you have many years until retirement. Keep your safer, bonds and/or cash in tax deferred accounts. A Roth is a...
