Looking for recommendations for bond allocation. This would represent 20% of my portfolio. Want to stick with simple index products from Vanguard.

Looking for some Bogleheads advice on examples of couch potato ETF index portfolios. I want to have a 60/40 mix. Looking to use Vanguard ETFs, but can also open to others. Prefer not to have more then 6 ETFs in portfolio. Im 61 Thanks for the advice.

When is the best time to reallocate. I hate to jump in at current prices. I invest primarily in Vanguard index ETFs Stable return is in 401k. I'm looking to put more focus on Vanguard Index ETFs. Can a few of you give me your thoughts on going with all VTI versus breaking it down more between VB, VXF and an S&P 500 index.
