Looking for good HSA provider to transfer to

I have an old HSA that is currently with a provider charging me fees and I want to move it. I have been leaning toward fidelity, but wanted others' opinions before doing anything. Are there any that give you some sort of bonus for transferring, or count the HSA toward some sort of investment account...

Where to find a list of all money market funds sorted by 7 day yield?

I have not had a lot of success finding this information, it seems some of my brokerages only show you their funds and not any competitors.

Re: Bank of America/Merrill Edge - Preferred Rewards

The saga ends finally! So I called BofA back and complained that I still didn't have my missing cash back/points and they opened a research request for me to investigate and adjust my account. A few more weeks goes by and nothing, so I call back again and they said that they sent me a letter in the ...

Re: Bank of America/Merrill Edge - Preferred Rewards

How about people that were downgraded due to a glitch on BofA side lol. So the saga continues. I spent another hour on the phone with BofA to try and get my preferred rewards status fixed and all my missing cash back returned. They said that the preferred rewards status was added again to both of my...

Re: Bank of America/Merrill Edge - Preferred Rewards

One last thing, when I log into my BofA account it shows "wealth management" in the corner but they said that just means that I have both a BofA account and a Merrill Edge account. This was new to me. I think they are wrong. I believe you need at least $250k to have wealth management. (I don't have...

Re: Bank of America/Merrill Edge - Preferred Rewards

Ok so another update. After almost 2 hours on the phone the saga continues. They went into my account and found that my cash rewards card was not enrolled but my premium rewards card was, so they re-enrolled my cash rewards card. They said that since they re-enrolled me in preferred rewards that it ...

Re: Bank of America/Merrill Edge - Preferred Rewards

So a quick update. The support agent I talked to put in a ticket for me a week ago and then suddenly I received an email today that says I'm enrolled in preferred rewards. I log in and it shows platinum honors like before, except I'm still under "wealth management". I then checked my pending cash ba...

Did you close your BofA checking account?
Or your BofA savings account?
My savings account was closed by BofA due to having $0 but not my checking.

Re: Bank of America dropped me from the preferred rewards program!?

Did the recent decline in the stock market drop your Merrill Edge portfolio below $100,000? Does wealth management status disqualify you from the preferred rewards program? I have like 180k and have never dropped below any thresholds that I know of. I have also read that wealth management should no...

Re: Bank of America/Merrill Edge - Preferred Rewards

BofA may have recently made some sort of change to their program without telling people. I was recently dropped from preferred rewards for seemingly no reason. I noticed my cash back being wrong on my credit card and when I log in it says "Wealth Management". I called them up and they had to escalat...

Bank of America dropped me from the preferred rewards program!?

I have over 100k with BofA and I noticed recently that that cash back I was getting was wrong on my credit card. I called in and they said I had been dropped due to eligibility. After researching the guy on the phone didn't know why that would have happened so they opened a case for me. I did notice...

Re: New Merrill Edge cash solutions (possibly?)

Can someone explain to me why GOTXX is a better option than one of the other funds like PVOXX which has higher yield? Is it because it invests solely in federal government debt meaning you don't have to pay state taxes on it? State taxes are pretty small in comparison to the difference in return bas...

Re: New Merrill Edge cash solutions (possibly?)

This GOTXX play sounds good to me. The only downside is that Merrill Edge still won't let you change your core position so I would have to trade in/out of the fund. Looks like the minimum entry is 25K. I would really like to see them integrate Merrill Edge with the BofA side of things more. Seems li...

Ways to avoid account transfer fees between brokerages?

I want to move a roth IRA from one brokerage to another, but there is a fee involved. The only way I can think of to avoid the fee is to open a second roth IRA and only transfer part of the funds. Would that work?

Does anybody have experience with international bank accounts?

I was researching the internet for ways to deposit foreign currency into a bank account when abroad and I came across something called an international bank account. For example, citibank has this account type which allows you to deposit cash in different countries (for example, deposit USD in USA, ...

Re: Fidelity as a one stop shop

Well it looks like it was my mistake on the CMA not overdrafting. It looks like I enabled overdraft, but forgot to enable the cash manager. I bet it will work for me now. Now I have a few more questions. Is there a way to limit the overdraft to a certain amount? So say no more than $3000? That would...

Re: Fidelity as a one stop shop

So I ran into a snag today (Saturday). I went to a bank of america ATM to withdraw some cash from my CMA (which has overdraft turned on and $0 in it), but the transaction was declined due to insufficient funds. So it did not automatically overdraft any cash into the CMA from the investment account. ...

Re: Fidelity as a one stop shop

I talked with a rep today and they told me that > 100k would qualify me for premium client status so I would get free ATM withdrawals from the investment/brokerage account. If that is the case I'm not sure of the point to the CMA. Is there a benefit to having both in this case?

Re: Fidelity as a one stop shop

Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong? I've read through most of the comments on this topic and my understanding is that the only reason I would want to keep my money in the investment account instead of the CMA is because I can then put limits on withdrawals from the CMA to protect against fra...

Re: Fidelity as a one stop shop

So a quick question. From all my research it seems that Fidelity is the only option for auto-sweep between CMA and MMA in a brokerage (via overdraft) that also has a debit card with free worldwide ATM withdrawals. Is that correct? Are there alternatives? I have BofA and Merrill Edge (for checking an...
