Re: Exchange TDF?

This will not be my main source of income in retirement. I will receive a pension which will replace about 60% of my income. Just wondering if I’m being too conservative.

Exchange TDF?

Hi everyone quick question on my ROTH IRA 2035TDF. When I look at the glide path when I reach 60 years old I’m about 36% equities. I’m wondering if I should exchange it to the 2040TDF which would put me at about 50/50. I’m thinking I would get maybe a little better rate of return if I exchange them....

Thanks everyone for the advice I will have her open an account for just her with vanguard to start the transfer. and she will start saving money instead of paying the 1.35% Aum. Plus the high ER’s and the 9 funds her advisor has her in. I will either have her do a TDF or 3 fund.

Hello friends. I currently have my Roth IRA with Vanguard. My wife is wanting to liquidate her Roth IRA at another firm and transfer into vanguard. Seeking advice. Wanting to go from 5 to 3 fund, or TDF.
Currently have:
VTSAX
VGTSX
VBTLX
VSMAX
VIMAX

I tilted with the small and midCap but want to simplify my portfolio and was wanting to loose VIMAX and VSMAX.
What’s the best way to go about?
