I think there is some confusion here. JPM Reserve has an annual fee of $595 and is only available to Private Client and Private Bank customers. The Sapphire Reserve is the card with the increased annual fee.

I've done this before years ago to get a great rate on an auto loan at a credit union. Now I would only do it for a discount on a mortgage. I don't plan on ever taking a loan out for a car again.

I have T-Mobile and I used the 0% financing to buy my iPhone XR. I put the money I would have used to buy the phone outright in a T-Mobile money account that earns 4% and pay my monthly bill using that account.

This same thing is happening to me between 3 different institutions on 2 different cell phones. I have a feeling its an issue with the provider they are using to send text messages.
