Re: Refurbished desktop

If you are just looking to have a big screen. You could use a docking station like this. https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/visiontek-vt1000-universal-dual-display-usb-30-dock/apd/aa099817/pc-accessories/ I use it to connect my laptop to 2 dell 23 inch monitors. So I have total 3 screen including lapto...

Re: Patent an idea and find investors.

I am so glad I posted this. It helped me avoid starting on wrong foot. I am going to put my time & energy into developing prototype first.

Thanks every one for the help with resources, and suggestions. I hope the thread would be helpful to others in the same situation.

Thanks again.

Re: Patent an idea and find investors.

Thank you. How do you recommend I go about building the product and finding investors and resources. If I patent it first would it be safer?

Thanks,

Re: Landlord charging for unwarranted repairs.

Unfortunately we don't have photos or written statement about refusing walk through (this was the mistake we made since we did not have any trouble with our past landlords). They have sent us photos, its a huge dark stain that we would have noticed. We were only there for 4 months no children or pet...

Landlord charging for unwarranted repairs.

Hi, We have handed over our keys to our previous landlord on November 5 (although we rented the apartment till November 30). Now after more than a month they are claiming that there was stain on carpet and had to replace it and charging a prorated charge of 410$. I had only been there for 4 months a...

Convert to platform bed or good boxspring

Hi, I got the king bed set( https://www.costco.com/Parkside-King-Bed.product.100333240.html ) thinking its platform bed but it was delivered today and I realized I got confused with another one. I want to avoid box spring if there a way to convert this into a platform bed. If i can, what do I have t...

Hello All, Just wanted to give an update. I pushed my first lender and they came through , although we had to postpone closing time and it wasn't until the new scheduled closing time that all the documents were ready. It has been an anxious week and half. But we did close on the 30th and moved into ...

Re: Action on mortgage lender.

Hi All, Thanks for the insight. This is my first time buying a home so I made this mistake of completely relying on the closing date. Would be more diligent next time. I also went and opened an application with my local credit union as well. Me and my realtor are trying best to expedite the process ...

Re: Action on mortgage lender.

Thanks for the reply. I understand its not my right to get a mortgage but there were other lenders who were willing to give me the loan based on my status. I went with my current lender because they had good rates , were fine with my status and finances and they pre-approved my application. If they ...
