Re: Insane to buy a sports car?

Well, you can definitely afford either selection. They are very different types of cars. Have you driven high-hp vehicles before? Both run staggered wheels, depending on how much you drive and how aggressive the compound you want to run, tires+fees could EASILY run into 10% of the total value of the...

Re: Your USER NAME...what does it mean?

I have a habit of picking usernames from objects that are laying on the desk I'm working at. In the past this would serve as the 'hint' or context when I would stumble on one of the MANY logins I have had at work for our innumberable portal apps. Past nicks include: dixonticondaroga procell medliner...

I echo everything said above and would just like to add: Anything not built on a permanent foundation would likely effect types and rates of insurance available. As other posters have described, once you bite the bullet for site prep and a permanent foundation then additional sq ft. are relatively c...

Number one, fight them tooth and nail.

DSL providers seem to provide a much more consistent, lower-cost, and trouble free level of service in my experience, where available.

As another person who has dabbled in the 'gig economy', mostly to see what all the hub bub is about... there are a few points to consider here. 1. On Uber in particular, and with ALL delivery services. The fee the customer pays and the rate the driver makes has been completely decoupled from one ano...

Change oil every 5k with the cheapest Group III+ full synthetic available. This is typically WalMart's Supertech offering. I have quick change valves on all the vehicles and haven't spilled a drop in several years.

Now you know why drug prices are so high. This is also part of the reason. We're working overtime to rei...

My favorite kind of Sci-Fi. There was some fairly obvious social commentary which the filmmakers depicted in... a relatively straight forward manner. Some others where done nice and subtle.

Several nice moments of black comedy, which I appreciated.
