I applied for and obtained this Alliant card about six months ago. I found the application process to be relatively easy. I honestly don’t recall if they required a copy of my most recent tax return. With other mags, I usually choose the “bill me later” option when I subscribe. Then pay the subsequent invoice by check.

I really like my Cabela's Gore-Tex jacket. Water repellent, breathable, and I think still lifetime has a lifetime warranty. $129 but rarely if ever on sale.

I'm in a similar position but still have more questions than answers. Depending on amount of dollars, why not consider several CDs? FDIC protected and annual percentage levels within your parameters.

In my area, the local Goodwill will come tow the car away and does all of the paperwork. Painless. They then hold occasional auto auctions to convert the cars to cash to support their mission.

Even if the contractor has workers’ comp/insurance in place, that coverage may just protect the contractor and not extend to the property owner. In some states (not sure about FL), the property owner’s potential liability is not eliminated simply because the contractor has workers’ comp coverage. Th...
