Re: Did I commit a tipping faux pas?

I read somewhere that nowadays is expected to live a tip on the pillow in hotel for the cleaning service. Does anybody really do this? It's so ridiculous, where does it stop? I tip but I did not following my usual go-to guide, Emily Post. At my last stay, I think I was there two nights, I put out a...

I will tip movers, or workers that are at my house "laboring" I also tip about 18-20% when out. But I really dislike when people receiving tips complain about bad tippers. My advise that that is to get a job that doesn't rely on tips.

Perhaps try these window inserts: https://www.windowinserts.com/ . I used one for a skylight, and it completely stopped a cold draft I used to get from it. They are much better than the window film, and cosmetically much nicer looking. The inserts can also be removed and reused. I actually leave th...

1031 Exchange Info

15 years ago I acquired a property via 1031 exchange Here's the timeline. 1. I owned a multi family that was rented fully (I didn't live there)-This property was acquired via my father "deeding" it to me via quit claim. (not my doing. he was dying, had no will, I was young and unaware). 2. 2004 I ac...

Aside from when the 2020's arrive, by buying about 3 days before the end of week, end of month end of quarter or end of year should get you the best deal.

Also go right before closing time. Bring your trade and title, and any other decision makers to show you're ready to buy.

You can configure them with SSDs also.

For me and the company I work for I usually go to the Dell Outlet and buy them. Many of them are just like new. If you go to the Dell Outlet, go to the "office or business side". As the Latitudes are business models. The Inspirons are consumer based.

Having your phone on a business plan "might" mitigate some risk against a SIM swap.

I handle our corporate phone plan. We have 40ish phones on this plan, and if a person that's on our plan leaves the company, I have to aid in the facilitation of transferring that number to their new plan.
