I will never buy a MF again, unless there is something I cannot get in an ETF. I like the flexibility of ETFs, especially with crazy market swings. When it is time to buy, I want it to happen immediately. When I need to sell, I like the same.

To answer questions - yes we listed that he obviously cannot do 2 of the 6 ADLs. Dementia also trumps that, which he has. Thanks I love the story about your dad, he sounds like mine! The facility could have done better on the original paperwork, but we fixed all that and provided documentation on everything. Hope I can match your experience with CNA - he paid over 30K into the policy!

So just an update. I did a full package using a lawyer to contest the refusal of payment by CNA. Looked at their BBB and Yelp ratings, just terrible. Set up WF savings about six months ago. Interest rate was good. It started around 2% I think. Then down to 1.75, 1.2, and now it is at .26%. They used to notify me when they were dropping rates. That stopped too. Closed the account.

Found a good attorney and set a letter which included documentation from three different doctors. Rather large package and letter sent to the company. They have had for over a week and have not responded yet.

Yes he was certified before he went in by his doctor with dementia.

Yes the facility meets all the requirements.

They are providing more info with key terms and information that I think will help with my appeal.
