Re: 25 Y/O Seeking Opinions

I have access to a Roth 401k but most posts I have read advise against it. I guess what makes my situation unique is I invest 90% of my income into either paying loans, or direct investments. But my income is low income, as after tax I only have about 24-25000 spending dollars in a year. I’m hoping ...

Re: 25 Y/O Seeking Opinions

Does it really make sense to not max the Roth and simultaneously put extra money towards my loans too? That’s what I’ve been doing. I maxed my Roth last year and contributed 5000 more than the minimum payment in a years time.

Re: Should I close this Credit Card?

If you have other types of credit contributing to your age then cancel it if you never use it. If it dramatically affects your age of your accounts then wait until you have some other ones that are stronger in age.

Re: 26yrs old and need startup advice

Buying low and selling high is not predictable and can cause more losses than gains. Fund a Roth with things that have high potential gains like stocks/equities. Most of your allocation should be stock and equities at your age. Just buy and hold. Target retirement —-> total stock market admiral shar...

Re: Retirement Accounts - Employer 401k Options / Taxable
