Agreed on the fascinating thread.
I am in for much less than 1% but enjoy the volatility and checking how this is doing everyday. It satisfies my urge of my more boring 3 fund portfolio. For that I thank hedgefundie and all the other posters and when I come here i hope this thread has been bumped.

why would someone who stole your cc number have items shipped to your address? Seems odd I had this happen to me. After login, click which account you want, then find next statement date a few lines below account number and routing number for me in my savings account.

Might take some time to link the bank accounts but folks can still deposit money using the mobile app. Just write yourself a check from your funding account, take a picture of it and viola.

Pay out of pocket if you can.
Also, consider rolling the tIRA into your 401k. Most plans will let you. This would clear out space to open a tIRA for back door Roth IRA conversion without running into pro rata tax implications.

As alluded to by Duckie, first thing to do is figure out how much to keep in an emergency fund. Most folks, depending on the stability of their job, save 6-12 months of expenses. Then put the rest to work for you.
