The only reason to hold onto a concentrated stock position is to avoid paying capital gains taxes during your lifetime so that you can pass on to your children with a step up in basis. I let my emotions get the best of me and I agree that selling the stock is the correct route to take......I used to tell my Parents that they were taking a huge risk holding all this stock in one company.
