When we bought our house a few years ago, we had it tested. It was about 4.8. We got some cement caulking and put it all along where the walls and floor join in an attempt to seal the radon gas out. We tested it again and it was 1.5.

Might be worth a try for fairly low levels.

I started when I could afford it (maybe 10years ago). For any flight 4 hours or more, I splurge. It allows me to not dread the whole airport/flying experience. And I love the seats that allow you to sleep on your side!

I played tennis growing up and for many years into adulthood. Now my knees don’t allow it. But...I have found pickleball and love it! Easy to learn if you have any athletic ability at all (whereas tennis takes lessons and years to get very good at it).

It always seems to be about that. I have no debt. I use a credit card a lot but pay off the balance each month. I don’t know what else influences the score.

(It’s funny...I applied for a Jetblue cc recently. They denied me because I’m retired!)

Another vote for checking with your vet’s office. That is how we found our cat sitter/vet tech. Our cats had medical issues so we needed expertise with giving pills and twice daily insulin shots. $40. a visit but they were well cared for.

I recently traded in my 2015 Accord LX for a 2018 Acura TLX. I hated the 2015's seats (and I'd had Accords since 1980). I've only driven short distances (an hour or less) so far in the Acura but it appears to be more comfortable for me.

At this point in my life (age 62), I can afford to fly business class. It is so much more comfortable that I simply won't fly economy anymore except for short trips. Life is short and you can't take it ($) with you.

Bought a new Weber last year. One downside compared to my old completely open Weber Spirit grill...placing a full LP tank on the hook inside is quite challenging. Very heavy and awkward. Eventually (I'm 62), I'll probably have to hire someone to attach it.

I use dishcloths for dishes (washed every few days) but constantly rung out.
I use a sponge for wiping clean the sink or wiping up something that falls on the floor.

Perhaps the dealer will let me take the car for an overnight. Renting is a good idea too. Time will tell and I'm not in a hurry so this may take a few months. (Hopefully I won't regret getting rid of the Accord!) :oops:

My mother is in a memory care facility. At Christmas time I receive a letter asking if I want to give to the holiday fund for all staff which I do. They do not allow individual gifts.

Don't forget to get a driver's permit from AAA. When I was there last (3 years ago), it was a requirement.

We have a joint account (house and car related expenses) and individual accounts (though technically both names are on the accounts, just in case...). We both like the independence of having our own money to spend as we wish. This has worked well for 20 years now.
