I know nothing about TaxAct, so perhaps my post is gibberish, but it sounds like the problem is not printing vs. anything else? It's not ideal to hold non-Vanguard mutual funds in a taxable account, so I'd start investing in ETF's at Schwab or Fidelity. If you want to TLH your existing position, you can do it either before or after the transfer (Schwab/Fidelity have no commission to sell Vanguard mutual funds, just purchase)...

I agree that Chase You Invest is not an impressive product. Collected my bonus and subsequently emptied the account.

I don't have an account there, so can't comment on fund availability or how well the platform works overall, but FirstTrade does not charge commissions for mutual fund transactions.

The other hoop that annoys me with AMEX is that you need to pre-select an airline for the $200 incidental credit. I fly several airlines and it's difficult to guess which one I'll accumulate $200 in luggage fees or upgrade charges in a given year.

Convert the Admiral Shares to ETFs at VG Schwab told me on a call that they will accept Admiral Shares and that there is no fee to sell. That may be a better move than converting to ETFs as you will then incur a $4.95 brokerage fee when you sell. You might have to ask Schwab on the specific VG fund...

Chase offers Vanguard mutual funds at no transaction fee. I've bought Vanguard Federal, Municipal, and Treasury MM funds there. I believe (but not 100% certain) that you can also buy Wellesley investor shares, but not Admiral.

Without further questioning your motivations, VUSXX is currently a no transaction fee fund at E*Trade. Usually NTF funds at E*Trade have a 90-day short-term redemption fee of $49.99, but I'm not sure about VUSXX since their quote page does not specifically say.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely stick with rounding down the allowed wash sale amount to $0. And I will attempt to leave the wash sale adjustment code on the transactions if my tax SW will allow.
