Re: Used Minivan - Recommendations?

We have a 2014 Dodge Grand caravan with ~90k miles with no issues so far. We bought it used at a significant savings over Honda or Toyota. Also the stow and go seats were important to me because I use it to haul sheets of plywood and drywall from time to time and I like not having to remove the seat...

Re: Is a million really the benchmark for retirement

you can set 1 mil as a milestone target. with 1 mil and proper investment to beat the inflation assuming you withdraw 3% , it would last 30 years of your retirement. Assuming you would also get 20k from SS, so the total $50k would get you some sort of "decent" retirement cost covered. But...

Re: Is a million really the benchmark for retirement

So much advice in this thread... Thank you all! I currently spend $68k a year. However, $23k of that is my mortgage. Re: Republic Wireless

I've been with republic for about 4 years, no complaints. My first phone was a first gen Moto g and I just replaced it about a month ago with a g5. I would say they have definitely fixed old issues. They now use T-Mobile's Network so if that is ok in your area you will be fine service-wise. I use my...

Re: VW Atlas

I'm pasting this in all VW threads as a warning: 2010 Volkswagen. Bought new and after 3-5 years two issues occurred: - door check strap broke (tore sheet metal) - it is the thing that prevents your door from opening into your quarter panel. - Ignition Key sticks real bad - makes you fearful that y...
