Re: Shed Foundation: Flat Concrete Blocks or Deck Piers?

When I did my last foundation for a shed I hired someone to level an area in my yard with a load skidder. They installed 4 x 6 wooden posts 1.5 feet outside the diameter of my shed, and filled this area in with rock so it was level. I have a 20 x 12 shed and the foundation cost me $1500. Uneven grou...

Re: Polywood Patio Furniture

I have had polywood furniture for 10 years and it still looks great. With all of the available colors for this furniture I have to wonder do you really want white? That color will show dirt, dust, mold, tree pollen, etc and you will be constantly cleaning it. I was fortunate to be able to go to the ...

Re: Renewal by Anderson window prices

If vinyl windows would work in your situation, please look at OKNA windows. The specs are tremendous. We replaced 26 windows in our house 2 years ago for 14.3K. We have been extremely pleased. Go with a credible contractor/company. I asked for the most experienced crew when my windows were installed...

In reading other forums I have seen many folks purchasing multiple trailers and tow vehicles in a short timeframe. I am hoping to do my best to purchase the ideal trailer ...

Re: Travel Trailer..Bigfoot, Oliver, Escape

I am happily married, so the trailer would be used most of the time for my wife and I. There might be isolated times where a buddy and I go to some music festivals. I like the floorplan of the Bigfoot 25RT the best at this point. The larger Escape trailer will not go into production until the fall. ...

Travel Trailer..Bigfoot, Oliver, Escape

I am looking to purchase a fiberglass travel trailer in the next year or so when I retire. I have been doing a lot of reading on the Internet and these three brands most intrigue me. I would be looking at the largest trailer for each brand. The Bigfoot makes a 25 foot, Oliver 23+, and the Escape has...

I listen to music while I sleep. Originally I used sleephones. I now used Cozy phones, which are cooler to wear. My wife did not like listening to music so I went to sleephones. Re: 'Gas Card' for teen - best option?

Gas stations still take cash. Why not have your teen pay cash (their own cash). If that is a hassle, help guide your teen into obtaining a credit card tied to their own checking account. Enable your teen to complete the application on their own with your guidance. This is all part of learning about ...

Contact the police officer who wrote the ticket. I would have you son do this. It is a simple phone call to the police station.
