In as much as I let papers, studies, and data guide my financial decisions, hold broadly diversified index funds, and keep any "bets," (single stocks, alternatives) to below 10% of my portfolio, I'd consider myself a boglehead.

65% S&P, 30% International, 5% Bonds. I am also due for a pension (non-government) that's well funded (for now) of roughly $5k/mo upon retirement.

This type of situation is exactly why I prefer to maintain separate accounts even in marriage. Provided everyone is contributing to the expense of maintaining the household equitably (time, money, labor, however that is worked out) do what you want with your money, I'll do what I want with mine.
