I have quite a few friends working for various airlines from mgmt, pilot, down to maintenance crew. Very few of them can even get on a flight anymore. A family of 4? Forget about it, unless you're trying to fly to Des Moines on the regular.

VG required medallion signatures recently for moving my wife's Roth IRA CDs from our credit union to VG. Yes, VG still requires these stupid things, and oddly enough is why I went with Schwab when I opened a taxable account. My brick and mortar bank didn't even offer the service. Nicely done VG, not.
